Improbablity Fractured
Okey dokey, it has been awhile since I bothered folks with my meanderings through what is left of my little gray cells. Whether or not this qualifies for the afore mentioned situation will be left to others far more capable then I to determine its status.
Here is some Internet News Headlines from recent wanderings through the electrons.
Conspiracy Film Rewrites Sept. 11. (And folks wonder why I consider myself normal.)
Mayors take gun control into their own hands. (As if the Government can’t screw it up without help)
Is a deer head on a pole in bad taste? (Something here just smells)
Injured Washington hunter had been chasing bear. (Kinda makes you wonder what that idiot was thinking)
So, there are four headlines that I have no desire to further comment on now or later.
Now where was I before I side stepped what I was thinking about writing when I wrote the jibberish above?
Hell, let’s double back, and take a short gander at the last posting here. The article I examined, in my non-professional way, was on Fascism. I accept the article as having a solid base on historical facts and therefore can serve as an example to base descriptive decisions upon when referring too someone or some political party that is found in disfavor.
One of the things that had recently occurred that may have possibly warped my sense of humor was brought about via an old friend of the family.
Here we have a very educated individual who finds the oddest reasons to explain events or occurrences beyond their ability to accept responsibility for in their life. Prime example is whenever her daughter from her first marriage acted up or just did something incomprehensible to her mother, the reason for such actions was the ‘bad’ Romanian blood she got from her father.
In reality what happened is something that happens in every life of every child. She has pushed to determine the limits of parental tolerance and found there was no limit. Mother was either sold on Doctor Spock’s method of ruining a child or was too scare to punish her for being a brat.
Either way, Mom was incapable of correcting the child and instead of accepting the blame, she put bad blood as the reason, therefore it was impossible to provide corrective action.
Got the idea here folks? Also, note that she wanted to move back to the plains of Kansas cause the heat of Oklahoma was too hot and it was killing her. This developed into a psychosomatic complex that developed into several events of medical nature. And pointing out how hot it got in Kansas was like spitting on the Pope. It was just not heard of and was false advertising.
So, let us move to the next item of interest since I have used a broad brush to paint the picture of a solid, intelligent, stable person.
Item was, G.W. Bush was not going to step down from the White House once his term was up and the U.S. Air Force was going to insure he stayed in office. Do I need to repeat this? Maybe read it several times to see what you only thought you saw when you read it the first time.
Ok, short explanation here. This was expressed to my bride and not to myself. But since my bride has been with me through my entire military experience, she not only knew better but asked several polite questions concerning the actions of the other military services in response to those of the Air Force in keeping Bush in office. She just waved them off as if they did not matter or have the ability to stop the Air Force from this coup.
Brace yourself for the next couple elections. They are going to be wicked.
Overheard in a gun shop recently. The shops owner said he’d vote for Hillary cause the current administration is Anti-Gun. Note: The owner is also a retired Air Force Officer, pilot by trade.
I must be getting old.
Moving back to the article on Fascism, I would like to point out that over the years that term has been used by many people to show their dislike for the government or just the party in power. It has become a vulgarity. Can it return to the forefront of politics? It is possible. But I would find it highly improbable.
Not without a complete change of definition.
So, it is Sunday and I need to find something to do.
